Hearing Testing and Hearing Aid Services
At Southeast Michigan Ear, Nose, and Throat we offer comprehensive treatment of hearing loss. We have soundproof booths at both of our locations which allow us to perform the most accurate hearing tests. We are able to test newborns and adults and perform pediatric hearing screening tests. Our doctors will accurately diagnose the cause of your hearing loss and treat it appropriately. Treatment options depend on the specific cause of your hearing loss and may include medical and surgical treatment if appropriate. Our doctors specialize in repairing ear drum perforations, placing ventilation tubes in the ear drums to drain fluid, and other ear surgeries. If hearing aids are appropriate for your hearing loss we have certified doctors of audiology at both of our locations who are available to educate you and fit you with hearing aids.

Our Mission:
Hearing loss and/or impairment is a medical condition that is often referred to as the “invisible disability”. When a person is struggling to communicate and understand others it often appears that the individual is rude, ignoring others, and not trying. It not only affects the individual but also their loved ones and social circle. When left untreated it may lead to withdrawing from social activities that were once enjoyed, alienation from friends and loved ones, and has been strongly associated with increased risk for cognitive decline.
We follow the medical model to provide the best care for our patient’s communication needs and strive to provide the most appropriate treatment for each individual to ensure the best outcome. Since hearing loss affects, not just the individual, but their loved ones and friends we strive to include them in the process as well. By providing the most appropriate audiologic treatment, we help individuals overcome the challenges of hearing loss and work to achieve their communication goals.
Hearing is Participating....
Hearing and understanding provide a vital link to the world around us. It enables us to communicate and interact with those we love, work, and interact with – as well as a source of enjoyment and information.
It allows us to enjoy all the nuances of life – from listening to a concert, to a child’s first laugh, to a loved one’s whisper. It deepens our bonds with one another, allows us to share our thoughts, hopes, and dreams. It helps us to reach our full potential in both our private and professional lives.
