Katie L. Stevenson, Au.D.

Education and Professional Background

Dr. Katie Stevenson received her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Wayne State University in 2019 and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Wayne State University in 2015. She holds a Michigan Audiology license, a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (CCC-A) from The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). She also serves as a volunteer for the Michigan Audiology Coalition. Dr. Stevenson completed her Doctor of Audiology Externship at The Children’s Hospital of Michigan and has trained in various medical settings throughout Southeast Michigan including Mott Children’s Hospital, University of Michigan (Michigan Medicine) Hospital, Henry Ford Health System, and private practices providing audiological services for patients across the lifespan (infants to adults), including comprehensive hearing evaluations, hearing aid fitting and servicing, electrophysiological testing, cochlear implant and bone-anchored hearing aid evaluations, treatment and management, vestibular evaluations and ototoxic monitoring assessments. Dr. Stevenson’s background is in pediatric audiology specializing in hearing healthcare for the pediatric population.  

She joined Southeast Michigan Ear, Nose and Throat in 2019.  Dr. Stevenson works closely with the medical providers at the practice to provide a collaborative medical model that allows for true patient-centered care and comprehensive hearing healthcare including hearing aid evaluations and the fitting of the most advanced hearing aid technology.
